Fuensanta Salvador López is one of Spain’s leading experts in the field of cultural heritage preservation. At the National Library of Spain, she is director of the Department of Preservation and Conservation, which includes the Restoration Laboratory and the Preventive Preservation Service.
She has authored and contributed to multiple national strategies and reflections on library preservation planning, with a strong focus on environmental risks, emergency protocols, digital preservation, and sustainable conservation models.
