Olivera Djartovska Tachevska – curator ethnologist from the Public Institution Museum of the City of Skopje. Graduated from the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Since 13.03.2007, employed at the Public Institution Museum of the City of Skopje, as a librarian. Since 01.08.2008 – reassigned to the position of curator ethnologist of two ethnological collections: folk economy and a collection of objects related to folk beliefs and customs. From 2008 to 2012 – at a workplace in the Museum of the Old Skopje Bazaar – a branch of the Museum of the City of Skopje. Since 2012 – curator ethnologist at the Museum of the City of Skopje. Over the years, she has gained extensive work experience in museum activities and in the activity of protecting cultural heritage.
Since 2012, for 3 consecutive terms, she has been the secretary of the Macedonian National Committee of Blue Shield, which is a non-governmental organization for the protection of cultural heritage in emergency circumstances (in case of armed conflict, natural disasters, fire, etc.) Since 2021, she has been the President of the Macedonian Committee of Blue Shield, which after the re-accreditations changed its name to Blue Shield North Macedonia. She takes an active part in the organization and the work activities of the Committee. She has been the technical editor of the magazine E-štit (E-shield), moderator and author of papers in large number of Forums and conferences held by the Blue Shield North Macedonia, as well as the author of some of the works published in the electronic magazine E-štit (E- shield), published by the Committee.
