Eleni Novakovska is a library advisor at the Music Collection of the National and University Library “St. Clement of Ohrid” in Skopje. She holds a degree in musicology and a master’s in sonology, with a thesis on “Methodology for the Digitization of Legacies of Macedonian Musicians: Digitization of the Vasil Hadžimanov Legacy at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MANU).” At the library, she specializes in the research and management of musical collections, as well as the digitization of audio materials, ensuring access to Macedonia’s cultural heritage. Her research also focuses on the history of Macedonian jazz and popular music, and cultural policy. She has authored scholarly articles, monographs, and reports on archival preservation, digitization methodologies, the history of Macedonian popular music, and the safeguarding of musical heritage.
